First day of school was, ho hum.
I sort of do not want to anticipate what year 2 brings. But it sounds interesting from this point of time! Though I was quite disturbed at Immunology.

Rather sad, really. I would have to raise a mouse for 12 weeks. Feed it regularly, change its bedding, check that its healthy, try to give it a good life. Because its going to be killed after that. How sad is that, really. The objective of it is to be able to procure antibiotics from the mouse itself, and thus after doing that we have to take cells from the spleen to determine if we were successful. And to take the cells from the spleen, we have to kill them.

Those delicate little creatures, albino mice. Snow white fur and a long pink tail. I actually picked one out of its cage today. And that scruffy little thing was panicky to the point of insanity. Seriously. It shat on my glove. Yes, like 3 lousy brown waste, on my glove. But I was the first one in my class to pick the mice up without her biting me! And I held her for pretty long cause Estella & Johan(My lab partners) didnt dare hold the mice.

Scruffy little buddy, I shall call you snowball. Cause you're white and soft, and you can only live for 3 months. Just like when Winter turns to Spring.

I think I fail on the getting attached to your mice part. Seriously. Anyway, on the brighter side! This is the first time since sec 3 since I posted about my day!
