`Remember Lot`s wife,
Don`t take that backwards glance`

Yeah, i saw these line when i was coming home from novena square today. Struck me on that how have i always focused on how things used to go instead on how thing are going now.

Yeah, indeed we should not take that backwards glance and stump ourselves that we should always keep the life that we used to lead instead of adapting to changes that are required. The unwillingness to change always causes us to look back and try to reminisce the `good old` days, which makes it impossible to move forward to the better days that may lie ahead, and make us like that pillar of salt that Lot`s wife turned into, immobile and dead to the future.

Have i stepped out? Have i kept my eyes to the front, to the greater future? Or have i just clung on to the unchangable past? Have i stepped out of my comfort zone? Or am i still cuddling close warm memories which have changed since? Oh please show me the way i should take the mighty world on!
