Ever noticed your path on the way home during the night?? All those scary shadows, dim dark corners and un-noticable rocks. At those moments you frantically search through your bag for a torch or even just a uncracked light-stick. Yes! There it is. During those times through the dark, the light is your life, grasping on so tightly as it illuminates light around you. But yet when we enter a slightly brighter area, we throw aside that bright light? Choosing a dimmer light instead of keeping that bright yet insignificant light around you, not thanking it for bringing you through the darkness into light.
When we change that into spiritual reality, I really feel utterly ashamed at how we(the guy walking home at night) throw God(the shining light) aside when we found some other subsitute which shines, but not as brightly as God, but yet we still throw him aside after he lit the way through the deception(scary shadows) and traps(un-noticable rocks) the devil laid to trick and make us fall. How could some of us be such ungrateful people as to banish God out of our life as soon as the darkness is gone, how can we be as faithless as that. How can I even be one of those. Even as i am guilty of it, I encourage those others who are like me, to look for that torch again. not literally look for a torch but yeah. GET THE MESSAGE?
