As Christmas is approaching, festives moods are up and as more shoppers rush to complete their Christmas shopping. Don`t they wonder what they`re doing all this for??

As Wen Kai said in youth camp during our group discussion, too many people out there be it christian or not, forget the true meaning of Christmas. Did God send his only son down to earth 2000 years ago to die for our sins just for us to sing carols or exchange gifts?? Even Christmas is not even called Christmas anymore.

Even the spirit of Christmas has lost it`s association with the birth of Christ. It used to be all about the love God showed us. Now Christmas is all about giving. I am not criticizing the current feeling people bring, but i feel that there`s more to just giving. I mean, correct me if i am wrong. The 3 wise men came bearing many gifts for Christ, so the thought of giving on Christmas day comes about. But the gifts from the wise men came with much love. As for the world`s giving it gives with much grudging for some and only a special few with love.

The true meaning of Christmas is the love God showed us when he send his ONLY son to suffer and die on the cross! Don`t forget that!!
